Agritours are run by our sister company, Cortez Tours. Please book your visit through their site.

45 minute tour + optional picnic lunch (as late as 2PM)

Tour a local, family lavender farm! You will also learn about the history & uses of lavender and how we are transforming our farm to be drought-tolerant and sustainable. We will discuss the impacts of climate change in our region and some of the steps local farmers are taking to adapt to the changing environment.

The farmers will then show you how to harvest the lavender and give you your own bundle to take home & enjoy! We also have a field of wildflowers and seasonal produce for purchase.

We have several picnic spots ready for you to enjoy your lunch and take in the picturesque landscape of rural Colorado. Tables are set with lavender lemonade where you can rest and revitalize your soul. (Picnic lunch is not provided by the farmers, so please pack your own! Cheese plates are available for purchase.)

Just as a note, on arrival you may hear one (or both) of the Australian shepherds "guarding" the house. The dogs are behind a secure fence or in the house and guests will not interact with them.

More Information

  • Guests are encouraged to ask questions along the way. As a Cortez-local I know a lot of history/folklore of the area and am passionate about sharing this special place with others!

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • Dog Owners: I get a lot of questions about bringing dogs on the trail. If it's just you in your tour, you are welcome to bring your dog - just make sure to bring a leash!
